Rivin’s story began in 2020, when we combined our love for flowers, interior design, and gardening with the desire to create beautiful spaces both indoors and outdoors – for homes, events, and businesses.
The design work is led by the company’s founders, mother (Sirpa) and daughter (Sanja). Our roots are in the Netherlands, which is also where the name Rivin comes from – it’s a kind of translatio of our family name, van Rij.
We are inspired by combining the harmony and clean lines of Scandinavian style with the richness and warmth of Dutch interiors. This is reflected in our silk flower design through color combinations, shapes, and arrangements that suit the atmosphere of each space.
Every flower and plant is carefully handpicked from our Dutch suppliers, making our arrangements truly lifelike, unique, and crafted with the highest quality.
We design and create striking bouquets, arrangements, walls, and installations from silk flowers and plants to complete the look of homes, businesses, and events. In addition, we offer carefully selected décor items from Dutch and Scandinavian pot and interior brands to complement your space.

Sanja van Rij
Head Designer, Floral Artist & Founder
I’m a graduated interior and garden designer, and at Rivin, I work as the designer and creator of floral and interior concepts.
I love designing arrangements that blend seamlessly into their surroundings – adding both comfort and visual impact to the space.
I’m also responsible for developing our services, curating our collection, and shaping Rivin’s visual identity.

Sirpa Vänttinen-van Rij
CEO & flower artist, founder
My background combines garden design, international business, and the art of Japanese floral arrangements of Ikebana.
I strive to create cohesive spaces where every detail enhances the atmosphere, whether bold and striking or calm and temperate.
At Rivin, I oversee our operations and overall direction, but you’ll some times find me at our boutique in Espoo as well.

Our Silk Flower Boutique in Espoo
Welcome to our boutique in Hentta, Espoo – a haven of beautifully crafted silk flower bouquets, lush faux plants and carefully composed arrangements perfect for homes, businesses, or celebrations.
In our showroom, you’ll find a curated selection of indoor and outdoor silk plants, floral bouquets, arrangements, pots, and vases. You can either purchase ready-made pieces or let us design a custom ensemble tailored to your desired colours, size and style.
All our flowers are realistic, durable, and maintenance-free – no watering, no replacing, and they stay beautiful year after year. A sustainable, allergy-friendly and practical choice.
